Robert Stanley

Robert has been passionate about dancing since he was fouryears old. His passion and enthusiasm was infectious, leadingthe way for his family to become dancers and teachers in hishometown of Waldorf, Maryland. In addition to hispreprofessional training at The Studio Cooperative, Roberttrained in the summers at Kirov Academy of Dance, CincinnatiBallet, Burklyn Ballet Theatre, and Orlando Ballet. His notableteachers include Mdme. Gabriella Darvash, Momchil Mladenov,Sabir Yapparov, Sarah Knight, and Catherine Batcheller.
Robert performed with New York State Ballet in Rochester, NY where he had the opportunity to perform both classical and neo- classical works. His repertoire includes soloist roles in Dracula, Alice in Wonderland, The Nutcracker, Carmina Burana, Romeo and Juliet, Carmen, and The Snow Queen. In 2019 Robert made the move to Florida and joined United Ballet Theatre as a trainee and then apprentice. He danced in original works like Jukebox Swing, and Timeless, as well as many roles in traditional ballets like The Nutcracker. Robert dances with an innate sense of style that infuses his characters with authenticity.
In 2023 Robert joined Azara Ballet, where he has the privilege toperform in meaningful contemporary work. Robert is excited to continue with Azara for another season.
