Mackenzie Davis began dancing at age four in Frederick, Maryland, training in multiple styles at 24/7 Dance Studio before focusing on ballet at CityDance Conservatory under Lorraine Spiegler and Stanislav Issaev. She joined Grand Rapids Ballet in 2021 as a Trainee and later was promoted to apprentice, performing roles in The Nutcracker, Cinderella, George Balanchine’s Serenade, and Who Cares?, A Midsummer Night’s Dream, and more. From 2023 to 2025, she joined Golden State Ballet in San Diego as a Corps de Ballet member where she most memorably performed Jiří Kylián’s Sechs Tänze.

 

Mackenzie is excited to join Azara Ballet for her second season and support their powerful mission.
