Drew Travis Robinson

Drew Travis Robinson grew up dancing competitively before majoring in Dance at both the Pinellas County Center for the Arts (PCCA) at Gibbs High School under Patricia Paige Parks & Suzanne Pomerantzeff, and then at the University of Arizona (UA) with a focus on Modern and Education. At UA, Drew was an Ambassador of Dance for African American Student Affairs, selected to choreograph for ten-time Grammy recipient Chaka Khan, selected by Colin Connor to perform at the José Limón International Dance Festival, and assisted in the research & development of various studies involving motion capture for dance preservation.
Drew has choreographed and performed for multiple companies across Florida including Azara Ballet, ATLAS Modern Ballet, Coastal Ballet, Danscompany of Gainesville, Florida Dance Theatre, St. Petersburg Ballet Company, Tampa City Ballet, and more while continuing to educate for stage, class, and competitive environments across the nation.
Drew has worked with various accredited organizations such as the Limón Dance Company, the University of Arizona, Florida Southern College, and The Parks Institute amongst others.Drew is currently a proud member of Azara Ballet, Prestige National Talent Competition & Convention - touring nationally as both judge and educator - rehearsal director for Broadway on the Bay, adjunct faculty at his alma mater of PCCA, and a teaching artist with multiple studios, schools, and programs across Florida.
